Victoria J. Miraglio

About the Artist

California born artist Victoria J. Miraglio draws inspiration for her vineyard murals from the many beautiful Livermore Valley wineries and the area's other beautiful scenery. One might even recognize the Sierras, Mykonos or the Hills of Tuscany in one of her paintings. There are hints of Miraglio's European travel experience and her love of the realist Renaissance artists seen in her classic European style of murals, faux finishing and trompe l'oeil murals. Miraglio's artistic creativity, design sense and eye for color matching make her a valuable asset to local interior designers working with discriminating clients that want to create a unique custom look in their homes. Miraglio's diverse portfolio demonstrates her versatility and ability to paint people, animals and even landscapes.

In 1998, Victoria moved to Pleasanton and decided to do what she had always dreamed of start a mural business and completely immerse herself in her painting. Since that time she has worked continuously creating custom murals, Trompe l'oeil, Faux Finishing, decorative painting and stenciling for interior designers and private residences including dozens of model homes, including 2 New Home design centers. Victoria raised her 2 children Nicole and Tony in Livermore. Having to work full time as a single parent, her artistic endeavors were restricted for a time while working in the entertainment industry. Over the years Victoria has attended many workshops and is diverse in many media including sculpture, lost wax, photography, pottery, pastel, stained glass, jewelry, portraiture, oil and acrylic painting.

Victoria's artistic journey began at age 3 coloring with her father. Miraglio's supportive family recognized her talent and arranged for her to have private art lessons starting at age 8. She had private art lessons from Elizabeth Tapper, (Seattle), Jaxon (Carmel), Dutch painter Auwina Lovendaal (Alameda) and attended summer classes at classes at the California College of Arts and Crafts. Victoria attended Alameda High School and upon graduation attended classes at Laney College and Cal State Hayward.
